Andrew Lam


With over 17 years of experience in the wine and hospitality industry, Andrew Lam was appointed the sommelier at five-star Langham Hotel last year, overseeing the wine and beverage program of the hotel’s six award-winning restaurants and bar, including the three Michelin-Starred Cantonese restaurant T’ang Court. Having just earned his Advanced Sake Sommelier Certification in Japan earlier this year, the wine professional aspires to acquire his Advanced Sommelier Certificate by the Court of Master Sommeliers.

In addition to being a recognized sommelier by the World Sommelier Association, Lin also owns SSA Sake Sommelier Association Advanced Sake Sommelier, SSI International Sake Sommelier, Master of Sake Sake Master, Scotch Whiskey Ambassador, French Bordeaux Wine Commander and other titles, he has also served as a lecturer in some wine courses and judges in wine competitions in the past.

Yohann Jousselin

Yohann Jousselin Master Sommelier, joined Shangri-La group in 2014, currently overseeing a Regional role for South Asia properties of the group.

Yohann’s accolades includes "Best Sommelier of the UK 2011", "Best International Junior Sommelier 2009" from La Chaine des Rotisseurs, named "Best Hong Kong Sommelier" by World of Fine Wine in 2015 & by Tatlers in 2014.

Yohann finalised his Master Sommelier exam in 2009 at the early aged of 25 years old becoming one of the youngest ever sommelier to achieve this prestigious recognition.

His precise work through his career path on wine menu has received many awards to name a few "Winner of UK wine list of the Year 2012, Imbibe", "Winner of Asia wine list of the Year 2014, World of Wine", "Winner of Asia wine list of the Year 2015, China Wine List of the Year" and most recently "Asia Champagne wine list of the Year 2018".

In recent years, Yohann has been focusing on developing new talents with some of his protégées becoming Master Sommeliers and others winning Sommelier contests. Part of the training platform’s that Yohann works on are both the Court of Master Sommelier and the WSET as a trainer

Cyrus Ho


Cyrus is currently the chief sommelier of the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel. He has working experience in many five-star hotels and Michelin restaurants in Hong Kong, including Petrus, Shang Palace, Angelini, Bostonian, Island Shangri-La Hotel and Langham Hotel.

In addition, he has a number of international sommelier qualifications, including the Court of Master Sommeliers(Court of Master Sommeliers) Certified Sommelier and WSET Level 3.

Cyrus hosted a series of excellent wine dinners at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel, making the hotel one of the most high-quality wine venues in the city. Cyrus also manages all wine affairs in the hotel and wine training for hotel staff.

His tenure as a sommelier won him many wine appreciation awards and many wine pairing menu awards for the hotel's restaurants and bars.

Over the years of working experience in the catering industry, Cyrus has laid a solid foundation and broadened his knowledge of various wines. It has also laid his determination to develop this trip and create a complementary wine and food experience.

Davy Leung

DipWSET, CMS, CSW, CSS, VIA Italian Wine Ambassador 

Davy Leung is an independent Wine Educator, Sommelier and F&B Consultant of a few renowned private kitchens in Hong Kong and Australia. With his extensive wine industry experience, he makes every endeavor to provide consultations to corporates and business schools in both Hong Kong and Greater China.

Davy is a WSET Diploma holder and Certified Wine Educator; a Certified Specialist of Wine & Spirits; Certified Spanish Wine Educator, Wines of Portugal Ambassador, KEC Koshu Expert and VIA Ambassador and Wine Educator. With his continuous contribution in the wine industry, Davy holds the Chair of the Society of Wine Educator Hong Kong Chapter since 2017.

Mabel Lai


Ms. Lai is the first Certified Wine Educator from theSociety of Wine Educators ® in greater China. Ms. Lai also holds the Diploma inWines and Spirits issued by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET®) and aWSET® Certified Educator. Other qualifications include “Wines of Portugal”Certified Wine Educator and Certified Port Educator.

Sheis not only one of the Founders of Hong Kong Wine Academy but also aninternational wine judge in the International Wine Challenge (IWC), Hong KongInternaitonal Wine & Spirit Challenge (HKIWSC) and Decanter Asia WineAwards (DAWA). Ms. Lai is a wine journalist with her own column in WinenowMagazine. She is now pursuing her goal as Masters of Wine.
